Well, if you’re looking for an easy, fast and nutritious snack recipe, you’re in luck – these Superfood Chocolate Protein Balls will fill all your requirements. They are tasty, vegan, dairy- and egg-free and they don’t need to be baked! They’re packed with superfoods and protein, and your kids can even help make them!



1 tsp. Raw Maca Powder
3 T Organic Dried Cranberries, chopped into small pieces
1 cup sunflower butter
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons hemp seeds, divided
1/4 cup Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds roughly chopped and divided
1 T milled organic flaxseed
2 tsp. Raw Spirulina
1 T organic Molasses
2 tsp. Beet Juice Powder
1/4 cup organic Shredded Coconut (Optional, but if you leave out the coconut, add 1/4 tsp extra molasses.)


In a small bowl combine 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds and 1/4 cup hemp seeds. In a large bowl, combine the remainder of the pumpkin seeds hemp seeds. (1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons of each)

Add the remainder of the ingredients to the large bowl. Mix everything together well.

Set a plate next to your work station, and begin to form the mixture into balls. Roll 1 T mixture between your palms, creating a ball approximately 1″ around.

Roll each ball into the smaller bowl of the pumpkin and hemp seed mixture to coat the outside.

Form remainder of mixture into balls. Set all balls onto a plate and put into the refrigerator for 1 hour.

If you or your family members are not sensitive to nuts, you can substitute any other nut butter for the sunflower butter and almonds for the pumpkin seeds to change things up a little. Enjoy!
